Demolishing the Oats at The Fringe

Updated: Jun 21, 2022

My new art collection is part of this year's Fringe Festival. The title of the exhibition 'Demolishing the Oats' is symbolic. When I am able to demolish my oats, it means I feel well and I know I'm going to have a good day. This collection was a joy for me to create. It allowed me to showcase some of my favourite career highlights, and brings together my passion for poetry and mark-making through the visual exploration of words and letters of the alphabet in charcoal.

My exhibition is featured at the Bessie Davidson Gallery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, between the 19th of November and the 22nd of March. I have felt proud to see this collection come together on display at the RAH!

Some of this collection is also available for purchase, allowing you to bring home a unique and meaningful story and to see the world through my eyes. To purchase an artwork, or request a commission, please reach out to me through my website or contact Victoria Bowes, CCH Program Administrator, at

To experience my exhibition in person, please visit:

I worked closely with my art mentor, Jock, to bring this collection together and I would like to thank him for his support. I would also like to thank my mum, Kerri, for always supporting me to reach my goals.
